TE WĀNANGA ARATAKI aims to grow and inspire our NKAI movement through serving our people through tikanga-led practice and Māori governance models. We will identify and share some of the ways to best lead and work with our people across our kaupapa and hear how these models are being implemented.
This event is especially designed for our school Board of Trustees, hapū and iwi, and our Tumuaki. Come and extend your knowledge on Māori leadership, governance and be updated on what is happening in our NKAI network. There will be something for everyone at this wānanga.
We also invite kaumatua as representatives from our Kura to meet during this two day wānanga to support the establishment of Te Kāhui Reo Taketake.
During these two days we have a range of keynote speakers and workshop topics designed with Ngā Kura a Iwi schools in mind. Keynote speakers and workshops will be released shortly.

REGISTRATIONS for Wānanga Attendees open Monday 1 August and close Monday 22 August, 5pm. Register under your Kura ā Iwi through Organisation Member.
Registration fee for this event is $`100+gst and is non-refundable. Registrations are only confirmed once payment has been received.
WITHDRAWALS & CANCELLATIONS :
1. There is an expectation that all registrations will attend and stay for the duration of the wānanga.
2. If there is a registration withdrawal after the close of registrations and the reason is deemed invalid by NKAI, a charge will be incurred to cover the costs of the event [accommodation + food + gst].
3. In the event a national or regional emergency occurs that results in the cancellation of this event, fees may be refunded.
